Corporate Social Responsibility


KPN Group Belgium’s view on Corporate Social Responsibility is that we are, as a company, actively concerned with the welfare of society at large. It is our desire to have a positive impact on the people and communities in which we operate. Our CSR policy focuses on two themes: children and environment. A third priority is to involve our staff as much as possible in all societal activities, as the enthusiasm of our staff to contribute their bit in our CSR projects, is very big. Of course, our view on corporate social responsibility is clearly linked to our shared company values:

KPN's Sustainability Report

 

In February 2007 European mobile telephony providers and content providers developed an EU-wide common framework to ensure safer use of mobiles by younger teenagers and children.

The Belgian Mobile Operators support this framework and reached agreement to develop the initiatives set out in the framework. You can read this 'Belgian Code of Conduct for Safer Mobile Use by Younger Teenagers and Children' here.
