BASE in rhythm with the music

KPN Group Belgium will also be present everywhere this summer at Belgian music festivals with its BASE brand. Over the last 7 years, the mobile operator has built a sound reputation as a partner for various festivals, and this year it will be going down the same road. Just like in 2009, BASE will be the partner of the Cactus Festival in Bruges (9 - 11 July), Suikerrock in Tienen (20 July + 29 July - 1 August), Lokerse Feesten (30 July - 8 August) and Marktrock in Leuven (13 - 15 August). Jazz Middelheim in Antwerp (12 - 15 August) and Feest in het Park in Oudenaarde (12 - 15 August) will be added to that list in 2010.
In accordance with tradition, BASE will be present at the festival sites with its giant LED screens showing the concerts live in razor-sharp images. So music fans at the back of the field will have a front-row view during the concerts of their favourite artist(s). Between performances, the screens will be used to display text messages from festival-goers: young and old can give free rein to their creativity with an original text message, and the best and most original ones will be rewarded with a backstage visit.
In 2010, KPN Group Belgium and BASE are also involved in cycling, through the partnership with Flanders Classics, the new umbrella organisation for the Flemish spring classic cycle races. The mobile operator wants to pass on the cycling bug to festival visitors during the summer months. Music fans will be able to test their physical fitness on the BASE stand, via a virtual climb up one of the most notorious hills in the Flemish Ardennes.
BASE is looking forward to seeing you at one of the festival sites this summer. If you just can't wait, you can already get into festival mood by looking at some nice BASE festival photos from previous years.
KPN has delivered
solid results in 2010.
