Features
Allo RTL is a mobile brand that is launched in a partnership between KPN Group Belgium and RTL Belgium. Introduced in June 2009, Allo RTL is mainly targeted towards the French speaking Belgians. Sold mainly through BASE and ALLO telecom shops, Allo RTL offers both pre- and postpaid plans that are known under the commercial names 'Studio', 'Plateau', 'Duplex' and 'Grande Première'.
Apart from low prices on voice, SMS and data, an Allo RTL subscriber will get many free benefits like e.g. free content.

Target group
Allo RTL focuses on the consumer market with a product targeted towards all French speaking mobile phone users.

Specifics
The Allo RTL proposition has several relatively unique product features:

  • Four RTL celebrities are linked to the product: Julie Taton, Jean-Michel Zecca, Alain Simons and Sandrine Corman.

  • Competitive pricing: e.g. € 6 for 90 MB and competitive out of bundle pricing.

  • Free data: every user gets 10 MB of data for free upon each top-up or subscription payment.
  • Free on-net minutes (and SMS's) are included in the bundles for free.
  • A postpaid plan with a €5 monthly commitment, a 1 month notice period and no minimum contract duration.
  • The possibility to receive free content via SMS (e.g. weather, horoscopes, breaking news, invitations for TV castings…).
  • Weekly contests that can be joint for free by the Allo RTL user. Prices that can be won vary from BlackBerry phones to air balloon rides.
