Coverage outside the Belgian borders is provided by several roaming agreements concluded with 537 operators in 216 countries world-wide for its postpaid customers and by 341 operators in 166 countries for its prepaid customers. Multimedia coverage (mobile Internet/GPRS) is also available abroad, in 180 countries (404 operators).

Network quality
Ever wonder which network scores the highest? It’s not just the coverage that counts, but also the quality. Coverage without a good connection is about as useful as a hammer without a nail.
The coverage refers to the percentage of the population that is able to use the BASE network. The quality is measured by the independent consumer organisation, NetCheck, which assesses the quality of telephone calls and data connections.
